Finally was able to to a test rigging of my Swift. I used the manual labeled "PASRiggingManualv12" photos.app.goo.gl/MMnGfyoU7KQJZUbj6The first issue I ran into was installing the wings. The rear wing pin being right over the fuel tank, leaves no room to install the lock ring. The fuel tank will not flex enough to allow the pin to be inserted from the bottom. I ended up putting it in from the top and using a safety pin style lock rather than the lock ring. ...How do YOU do it? Second, the lines for the spoilers required unraveling the activation ball/rope to allow enough slack to pull the carbineer just above the wing so that it could be opened and attached to the spoiler pull strings. Once done and the pull rope put back in the cleat and ball. Activating them drags the carbineer around the edge of the fuel tank and tries to catch on the tank lip. This is not workable....How did YOU do it? photos.app.goo.gl/cqVLvMa6fA6v6buRAThird, that so called safety pin used to secure the rear vertical stabilizer aluminum tube to the carbon fiber extrusion on the end of the wing. I tried all four possible ways to insert that pin. From the front, wavy section away from the fuselage. From the front, wavy toward, from the rear, away and toward. From the rear and toward is what the rigging manual says but doing so it is loose and will fall out as it clips over nothing. What do YOU do here? photos.app.goo.gl/8uPFd45U29FE8VLE8

I use an R clip for the rear pin and push it all the way through so it cannot come out The first photo is correct. We had the same problem with Phil Schroders Swift at the world competition that he is renting. It had older wings on a New Swift light fuselage. We extended the spoiler ropes and the rope that you pull "with a longer rope". The rope that you pull has about 8 inches of extra rope in the cockpit so that it has enough slack to pull the small caribiner above the wings to connect/disconect them. Make the extensions to the cords short enough that when you pull the cord the hook doesnt catch on the cross tube. Better still re align the pulley on the end of the wing and fit a second pulley like the newer Swift light wings have. Then the ropes go through a second pulley block that puts the roped under the fuel tank. I insert my winglet clip from the front clip facing upwards so it grips on the carbon It isn't going to fall out. Some people pust it in from the rear.

Hello Keshka,
I think that Phil answered for all your questions.
For the last point, there is normally only one method. I'm driving to Romorantin (France -Sologne) monday for a week. During the assembly, I will take pictures and let them on the forum.
Regards
Christian

Hello Keshka, find here under the good method to secure the winglets. The pin is inserted from rear side of the wingtip in the direction of the front side. The upper part of the pin has to pass on the inside part of the wingtip and not the outside part, left side of the tube for the right wing, and right side of the tube, for the left wing. Not too easy to explain but you have the pictures I hope I could answer to your question Regards Christian

New pinHey my friends! Here is my latest solution. I really like how these clips lock. Much more secure than the "hairpin" style.

Search for R clips on e bay. Using the other pins that you suggested i don't think the wingtip fairing will fit on.

Search for R clips on e bay. Using the other pins that you suggested i don't think the wingtip fairing will fit on. They fit well Philip. Tip fairings slide right over them same as the original hair pin style. They don't touch or rub.
