Hi Guys
i have 2 batteries with 120 ah.
my sdi shows at 40v 27ah but the list of the rcm says, that the batteries are empty...
I found it out some days ago. when i tried to restart the motor after the landing... nothing...
I'm worried about the fact that it was probably a coincidence that I never ended up outside because of the advertisement of the sdi.
what is your experience?

Excuse me, but can I ask a basic question? SDI is an E swift controller, isn't it? What is rcm? Is it one of the SDI lists? What does it represent?

Hi Akahori Yasushi
The sdi is the controler which shows you some parameters like: temperature of the batteries, motor, system as the most important. But there is also the possibility to regulate the power. The rcm is a file, written on a sd-card, which shows you the state of all the parameters, recorded in a rhythm of 1 sec (or more?) You can read it out with a pc and analyze in a table like excel.

Hi Urs,
I have no problem with the SDI for 5 years now: it show 52 V and 47 to 49Ah after each recharge...( it is supposed to be a 50Ah).
You should ask Geiger or Tony Roth to solve your problem.
Best regards.

Hi Michel
The problem (was) not the chrged moment, it was the moment, when the battery is empty, but it still shows 20 AH's Now there is a new firmware, which should show the exact state. I have installed the new firmware, but did not fly with it. i shall tell you, after the next flight.
best regards
Urs

All - FYI After my last flight the Battery showed 25 Ah so today I ran a static test (ran motor on the ground at various power levels, stopped and started) and it performed normally all the way down to 6 Ah indicated when I stopped the test. The SDI did flash between the remaining amperage and 0 from about 11 Ah and below; I assume this is a warning. I have a later generation swift (#148).
