Beautiful pictures. What is your range with this engine?
Thanks,

Hello Matt, the range is 250 to 300 km. 2 Lt/hours totally, landing and take-off integrated. +/- 3hr20 autonomy. See the article about the flight of the Swift - "autonomy" : Flying the swift
I think that the swift engine bailey is the best if you fly in flat land. The swift electric is better if you fly in the mountains. Each time I fly during the summer, I leave the sector of the airfield and try to fly long distance. I'm not afraid with this autonomy because when I don't find any thermals more, I start my engine and come back to the airfield without problem. Until now, my engine started each time. It is true that you loose a little bit glide ratio (24 in place of 27) and you climb a little bit less in the thermals due to the weight but you come back each time . It is a choice. Regards Christian
