Hello members of the forum,
The administrators of the forum wish you a happy and successful 2019 and many safe and beautiful flights.
The year 2018 brought many new members, both Swift pilots and people interested in the Swift and other ultralight gliders. Welcome once more and enjoy our forum.
The number of member contributions is continuously growing. Ever more modifications, engine problems methods and means for repair, new developments electric batteries as well as in new ultralight gliders like the comet1 are being documented. That is the reason why we created this forum and it is a great pleasure to see your contributions.
But we must also observe that in some periods there is little activity on the Forum. The life of our forum depends on your contributions. When you discover something interesting for us in a meeting, an article, an exposition, let us know and share it. And for the motivation of the pilots, if you are in a nice flying area, share it with the forum community .
We found one remark of a member very interesting. He was in the winter period in the other hemisphere and asked us to share our flights to motivate him. It was a super idea. Put some picture of your flights on the forum or post a link to your facebook wall where you perhaps share your flights. So, we will enjoy your experience.
The forum is too much dependent on only a few contributing members. You found some interesting information on our forum ? Then share also YOUR experience and your findings. Even if you have only a few hours, let us know what you do and where you fly.
We are also convinced that there are still Swift pilots who don’t know about our forum. If you find one of those pilots, please contact them or let us know whom you found via the personal mailing. We will then contact them and ask them to become new members. The more Swift pilots we are, the more we can learn and exchange.
We found that the community of our members has a super attitude on the forum. The articles are very interesting, the help for pilots who have problems is great (Christian thanks again all the pilots who helped him with his engine crash at the beginning of the season 2018), the exchanges are respectful. In the actual world where the people vent all their feelings without respect and limits, we congratulate you for all your threads and articles. This forum doesn’t need any arbitration. Congratulations.
On more request from our side: Please check and update your profile, especially the information about your Swift. This helps members find other members with the same or similar gliders who can help them in case of problems. Check your profile and complete it. We will anyhow soon send a reminder to everyone to do it. And in case you didn’t write a short post about yourself in the board “New Members”, please do so now.
Again thanks for your participation to the forum and we wish you a great year and many safe and pleasant flights
